((OOC: In the original 2024 text, I called Leftist one of the political orientations for the Humans in the Nyidiath. This was the word that the translators gave for the french «gauchiste», a pejorative word for a member of the extreme left, which in french are Marxists, more specifically Trotskysts, who split from the Soviet Communist Party when stalin took the power. They are known for intransigent and very dualistic views, more a strong propensity to moral violence and sometimes physical violence. The other French left parties are not extremists, not Marxists, not anti-capitalism, and they never advocate violence.))
In the story, the term «leftist» was fitting well, for intransigent people difficult to live with. Their political stance was obviously not «Marxism» strictly speaking, but still something of this kind, one of the ideologies which prepared the Revolution and made it violent and chaotic, instead of the positive change everybody hoped for.
((OOC: The problem which happened is that the word «leftist» is now used by the anti-Americans, to nab everything social, modern capitalists, and even ecologists. Changing the meaning of the words is a well known mind control method, called «Newspeak», as described in the «1984» novel by Georges Orwell, and widely used by anti-social people. This change in meaning strongly deformed this story, accrediting the idea that my Elves would be anti-social. I was able to spot the manipulation as it happened (early 2025), but I shall not always be able to do so. When you read a text, always check the intended meaning of the words, not the ulterior manipulations aiming at destroying it.))
